To write (almost, dang near close to) everyday for a year. If you're just joining in, you've got a little over 11 months left.
Define "Write Everyday"
*A free write
*A list of poems you want to write, ideas
*A second (third/fourth) draft of a piece.
The idea is to get in the habit of writing creatively on a daily basis... so you know, whatever goes.
Post your daily entries to the group up to twice a week. We've updated the folders as the project has grown more than we were originally anticipating. Each month we'll open up a new journal, so I've moved all daily submissions to "January." We'll figure out something fun to do with "Featured" later.
The Current Projects and some outside jazz
*Create a Prompt Journal. You can browse the ones in the "Prompt Journal" folder and find out more about the project here:
My Prompt Journal (Lit Community Experiment cont.)Hello All and Welcome to 2013!
Not that many people have picked up on this yet! Come on guys, lets get involved
(Original Gif too trippy for words!)
I hope everyone had a lovely break and are fully in the swing of the New Year!
Now this journal isn't a personal one, despite the title- in fact it is a journal I am challenging all of you to write and all of you to help others write. At this time of year, we've made resolutions and I expect half of you have included "write more" as one of those resolutions. This experiment is to help you fulfil that resolution so by 2014 you are sat here feeling achieved.
Prompts. Prompts are awesome. Why are they so awesome- because they get you writing! There are times when you feel unmotivated, wanting to write but not sure what to writ
Tiny Words is a cool little publication, but right now they have up a picture and are requesting people to drop by, write a poem and leave it in the comments. Pretty cool.
You can join the challenge this month to write haiku all month long
At the end of the year we will each have a full journal/long word document/toilet paper roll full of poetry/things to rework/scraps/genius thoughts/what have you... and we can swap. You don't have to trade with anybody you don't want to - but I'll trade with anyone who wants to trade with me.
Jump in. Keep each other motivated.
